The Franks
Anne’s family consisted of her father Otto Frank, her mother Edith Frank, her sister Margot frank and her pet cat Moortje. Anne’s father was thirty-six when he married Anne’s mother Edith who was twenty-five at the time. Margot is the oldest child at the age of sixteen, she was born in 1926 in Frankfort-On-Main. Anne is the youngest of the family at the age of thirteen, she was born June 12, 1929. The Jewish family immigrated to Holland in 1933 because Otto Frank was appointed Managing Director of Travies N.Y. Anne attended school of Montessori during kindergarten in 1934 and in 1941 and joined her sister Margot at the Jewish Secondary School. (Frank, Anne 1942-1944)
